I went to the pick your part near my house to get a new speedometer for my 'Vo. When I was at the checkout counter I learned that cars with in demand engines like LS1s sometimes don't get removed from the cars and they get crushed!! And they cost the same as every other Fuel injected engine, $350!! My aspirations of a SBC swap in my Volvo is coming to fruition veeeeery nicely.
Thinking I auould get an LQ4 from an Express/Tahoe and then get a T56 and have all of the torque! I feel like an LS1 would be abused, especially of it ended up at a junkyard.
